Movin' Movin' Movin'

So as we told you before, we just moved into a townhome.  We are still not completely moved in though!  We need to get the storage area fixed and then we can put everything away.  But it was nice to move from a 400 sq. ft. apartment to a 1000 sq. ft. apartment!  Although we still don't know how we're going to fit everything!

As for an update with all the police activity...it turns out the lady in the building next door that died on our first day living here died from being poisoned, so that's why all the police were here.  Then on Halloween night the kids next door had a party, and they decided to invite the son of the lady that had died because he was in town.  Well while they were all partying the son of the lady that died went into one of the other townhomes and stole a big screen TV!  Once they all found out that he stole the TV they got in this huge fight, thus all the yelling and screaming.  Then the police showed up and tried to track the guy down.  It turns out he had tried to hide in his mom's apartment and when he heard the police coming for him he jumped out the back window.  When he landed he shattered his ankle, but still tried to run from the police!  It's kind of comical, but at the same time, we don't like having all the police drama!  But that's the update from the prior post.

Anyway, here are the pictures of the move!  Once we get everything finally put away inside we'll take pictures to show you all our cute little, but bigger, apartment!  And thank you to everyone that helped us move!  We got it all moved out and in all in about 4 or 5 hours!  Thanks everyone!

Ellie was a tired cookie!  All she wanted was to be held since it was so cold outside, so that's what she got!  Until she was completely out.  Then I was able to put her in her carseat and actually help!

Update

We finally have the internet!  We got it today!  We also got a new couch today, I had a great lunch at work, and I found out I'm getting a new job!  So it's been a pretty good day so far! 

I don't even know where to start because I don't remember everything that has happened.  Ellie turned 2 months old on October 29, and on the 28th we went to her 2 month appointment.  She weighed 10 lbs 13 oz and was 23 3/4 in. long!  She's in the 100th percentile for her height!  She's a pretty long girl! 

We had a few Halloween parties to attend around that time of course, so we got her a little costume.  Her first Halloween costume was a fairy!  She was so cute in it.  We didn't have the costume in time for one of the parties, though, so she dressed up in a little onsie that Clint's sister Tausha bought for her.  It was black and orange and white and it said "I Love My Mummy" with a little baby mummy.  It was so cute!  Enjoy the fun pictures!

Life Without a Computer!

We feel so bad that we haven't been able to update the blog for two weeks!  We just got our computer set up today in our apartment, so now we need to decide what internet package to get and then we will be set!  We have so many updates to do!  There's Halloween with Ellie's cute fairy costume, moving, of course, and Gary winning the election for West Point City Council! 

I started back to work this week so Ellie is spending her days with Grandma Petersen.  Oh man, life is just flying by even though we want it to slow down so that we can get unpacked and settled still!  Slowly but surely, though, things will get better. 

I am at Gary and Carolyn's right now, and I found the cutest pictures of Ellie.  There are a lot, but here are some of my favorites.  Hopefully they will keep you all at bay till we can get our own pictures!  Enjoy!

On The Move

Well Clint and I have moved!  We packed up everything last Friday and Saturday and spent our first night in the new place on Saturday night.  We still don't have our computer set up yet, so I haven't had any time to make posts!  We're in the process still of getting the whole place cleaned and then we're going to spend all day tomorrow putting everything away.  It's been such a process!

Our first two days there were interesting, too.  On Sunday when we got home from church there were police cars everywhere and we found out that a lady in the building next to us died.  They suspect she was poisoned so they were all there investigating.  It was nuts!  Then on Halloween night the people in the townhome right next door had a party and some of them were outside fighting in the middle of the night so somebody called the cops on them.  With all of that action we're wondering if this is really the right place for us!  It just makes us a little nervous!

I don't have pictures today, but that's what's going on with us so far!  We're also blessing Ellie this Sunday, so once we have our computer up we'll have pictures from that.  We'll hurry so that we can keep you all posted!  Be back soon!
