Perfect Timing

So as you all probably know, we just moved into a townhome at the end of October. Our first full weekend here we had a little surprise...our furnace went out!  We kept turning the heat up but it kept getting colder and colder!  And as luck would have it, that was the first night that it snowed this year!  Hence the perfect timing!

We ended up staying at Clint's parents house for a few nights until it got fixed, but it was pretty chilly in here!  It was down to 54 degrees when the HVAC people came to finally fix it!  Here are some pictures of us bundling up that first night on our way to Gary and Carolyn's!

That got us prepared for the next time it snowed when we finally remembered to pull out Ellie's cute coat!

Perfect for Winter!

My uncle Dan and Aunt Jodie live up in Maine and Jodie made Ellie the cutest little sweater and just sent it to us.  It is perfect for Ellie to wear to church or somewhere nice when it's cold outside, and it's so stinkin' cute!  Thanks Aunt Jodie and Uncle Dan!

Pumpkin Pie!

Ellie is our little Pumpkin Pie and we love her so much!  We've been calling her that for a while, not just for Thanksgiving, but it's been kind of fun!  Here are some fun photos from the past couple weeks.

Ellie's Blessing Day

We blessed Ellie on Sunday, November 6, and it was the neatest thing ever.  For me it was so neat to watch my husband give my little daughter her first blessing that was so sweet.  For Clint it was so neat to be able to give his daughter a blessing.  What a neat and fun day.  Ellie did very well, too.  She didn't cry at all and held still for all those guys!  At the end when Clint held her up she did drop her binky, though, and Gary had a run around trying to get it back!

She looked so beautiful in her white dress.  Thank you to everyone that came to join us for this neat day, and thank you to Gary and Carolyn for letting us use their house for the luncheon.  We will always remember Ellie's special day.

Beware, there are lots of photos!

And after it was all over, Ellie FINALLY got to take off her dress...what a cutie!
