Camping at Stillwater

So I tried to do this post yesterday and the pictures wouldn't load.  Yes, given, we have a MILLION pictures, so I'm going to try to cut it down.  They are all so fun and so cute, so hopefully you don't mind!
The weekend after July 4th we went camping up to the Uintah's at the Stillwater campground.  We love it up there and we go every year.  We weren't able to go last year because I was pregnant and the higher altitude can put you into labor, so we were super excited to go this year and to take Ellie with us.  She loves being outside so we knew she would love it up there.
It rained almost the whole time we were up there, so we didn't really do much.  Every time we would go fishing it would start raining, so we weren't too successful.  We caught about 23 between all 8 of us, but I only contributed one of those fish to the whole bit.  I think Clint caught 3 or 4.  But no matter, we had a blast.

It was so gorgeous up there

That's what he calls it...Just chillin'

Changing time

 Touching the fishy, slimy eyeballs
 Ellie LOVED the fishing poles

 Mmmm...Oreo cookies
 Fishing in the rain

Walking fun

So this was the funniest thing ever.  I was changing Ellie's diaper in the trailer and she didn't want to put her clothes back on so we went to the door, and when we would open the door she would cover her chest with her hands.  So we would close and open the door and she kept doing it.  It was so funny!  She's such a goofy girl!

Usually every year when we come home we are met by the herd of Sheep moving across the street in Evanston.  We always roll down our windows and listen to them.  It was fun and Ellie loved it!
After all the fun was over Ellie was pooped.
What a sweet cookie.

Thanks for the fun camping trip!  We totally loved it!

Syracuse Fire

Last week on my way home from work I saw a house fire in Syracuse. The fire had started in the garage and spread through a good portion of the house. When I got there the house was still fully engulfed in flames. Just as I tried to get a picture with my cell phone the firefighters knocked down a huge portion of the fire. If you look close at the pictures you can still see flames through the front window in the house. I mostly took pictures of the North Davis Fire District's truck so that my dad could give them the pictures. But Syracuse, North Davis, Layton, and Sunset fire departments all responded. Clint.

The wind was blowing really hard so the ladder truck was actually used to protect the house next door from the fire.

In this picture the firefighters had just gained access into the house through the garage. You can still see the flames in the front room through the window.
