Fun with Friends!

Ellie does really well when we go and visit family and friends.  She's just so happy all the time and it's fun to see her with everybody.  We've had friends come here to visit, and we've gone to visit friends.  We also go to visit family, of course, and they all love Ellie tons!  Here are some pictures of her with her friends and our families!

Obviously she's gotten bigger since some of these were taken, but it's still fun to see her with everybody!

Just Like Dad

So Clint and Ellie and I are moving!  Clint and I have lived in a little basement apartment in Kaysville for four years and spent the past year trying to buy a house.  It didn't work out though!  We guess it just wasn't the right time for us, and now that we don't have a house payment and are just paying rent I can work part-time.  I would prefer that anyways.  But we're moving to a townhome in Clearfield that has two bedrooms instead of one!  We've definitely outgrown this little apartment and it will be nice to have a little more room!

Last week Clint was packing up some of the stuff in the closet and found all of his hats.  Ellie was sitting on the bed with him, so she decided she wanted to help!  Here's how big of a help she was!  She's so cute!  And Daddy was so proud of his little girl...

I didn't know we had so many hats!  But she did good posing pretty for Daddy!!!

Shopping with the girls...and Grandpa!

Last Friday, October 21, Ellie and I went on a little shopping excursion with Clint's family!  He has an Aunt that lives in Provo and her and her daughter Amy thought it would be fun to invite all of the girls in the family to come down over UEA and hang out.  Gary came, of course, because he's just one of the girls! :)  But it sounded like a good idea to us, and it was a good excuse to get out of the house, so we went!

Gary and Carolyn and Kenna and Carly came and picked Ellie and I up and we drove down to Fashion Place mall and went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch.  It was pretty tasty!  Then we were going to go to Gardner Village, but it was way too crowded to even park.  So we stayed at the mall and walked around for a while.  Then afterwards we drove down to the Gateway and walked around there for a little bit.  On the way home we stopped at In and Out.  It was yummy too!  We felt bad that Clint couldn't come, but we brought him home cheesecake and a burger afterwards!!!  Someday hopefully he'll be able to join us!

Ellie was definitely the star of the show, though!  Everybody just loves her and always wants to be pushing her stroller or talking with her.  It's super fun to see her interact with everybody!  And it's fun to see how much everybody loves her!  And she did so well just being pushed around all day.  She didn't really fuss or anything, just when she was hungry!  I'm glad she's such a good baby!  Thanks for the fun day guys!!!

Ellie had to take a bath before, so this is her getting ready!

As you can see, Ellie loves them just as much as they love her! :)

Goofy Girl

Ellie turned 8 weeks old yesterday!  These past eight weeks have just been a blast, and Clint and I cannot imagine life without Ellie anymore.  We hardly even remember what it was like without her!  But she is really such a ham and is so full of life.  We feel so lucky and blessed that she is such a good, fun, happy baby.  She only ever cries when she's hungry or tired or doesn't feel good, which is what any of us would do if we couldn't talk!  But we love taking pictures of her, if you haven't guessed already.  She is definitley a girl and is quite vocal a lot of the times.  She loves to coo at Daddy when he gets home from work and likes to talk to us at all different times.  When she does we try and capture it on video.  As soon as we get the video camera out, though, she stops!  But these are some pictures we've gotten instead!

She's just so cute!!!  We love her tons and tons.

Happy Anniversary!!!

Clint and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary this last Thursday, October 20!  The past four years have been so fun and I think he is the greatest husband anybody could ask for.  He's so sweet and caring and is so willing to do anything for me and our little Ellie.  I know he cares so much for us and loves us so much, and I love him so much.  And it's nice that we finally have a little daughter and our own little family now.  It's so neat!  And about time!

To celebrate our anniversary we went to the Anniversary Inn in Logan.  It was a little strange leaving Ellie alone for a night, though!  We left her with Clint's parents, so his mom had to get up all night with her.  But she seemed to do pretty well.  Carolyn said that when she woke up at one point Ellie was crying, so she asked her if she was hungry or tired.  Sure enough Ellie responded "Hungry" with her little binky talk that she has.  Carolyn just laughed and laughed and asked her again, so Ellie said hungry again!  Gary could hear Carolyn laughing so he went out into the living room and saw Carolyn laughing at little Ellie.  It's just funny because Ellie really does sound like she talks sometimes!  And that it was 3:30 in the morning when it all happened!  But she did good.  Mom, not so much!  I had a hard time being without her for so long since I spend every second of my day with her right now!  But I'm grateful that she's such a good little girl and does so well visiting different places.

At the Anniversary Inn we stayed in the European Honeymoon Suite.  It was just a nice, elegant room.  Not one of their crazy decked out rooms!  But we weren't really sure what to expect since we had never stayed there before.  It was better than we thought, and they bring you yummy breakfast right to your door the next morning.  And when you get there at night there's sparkling cider and cheesecake.  We think we would like to stay there again someday.  It was fun!  It was also fun to drive home from Logan in the daylight because the colors are AMAZING right now!  The whole canyon is just red and yellow and orange and green.  It was so pretty!  We definitely enjoyed it!  Here are the pictures!
