North Davis Fire District Fire Prevention Night

Tonight we went to the North Davis Fire District Fire Prevention Night. It was a lot of fun to walk around the fire station and see all of the fire trucks and ambulances. We were supposed to have a Life Flight helicopter come and land in the parking lot but they ended up having a scheduling conflict and couldn't make it. The Davis County Sheriff's Department did a K-9 demonstration that was unbelievable (I actually got to be on the receiving end of a similar demonstration several years ago so I know how powerful those dogs are). Most people don't know the connection that we have to the fire district. My dad, Gary, was heavily involved in the creation of the fire district a few years ago and has been on the Board of Directors for just as long. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board and works closely with the Fire Chief, Roger Bodily. I hope that you enjoy the pictures!
